Wud Aregawiyan Bego-Adragot Mahiber is a non - political, non - religious and a non- profitable humanitarian organization, which was established in August 2011 G.C with the objectives to help marginalized and destitute elders and their grandchildren under their care. It was establish by humanitarian families who were concerned with the severe socio-economic problems that elder people and their family members faced in their neighborhoods.

What We Do?

We’re On A Mission To Solve
The Problems

Care

Providing care and support for 150 elder people in home based service.

Healthy Food

Purchase and distribute food for 135 elder people.

Medical Facilities

Providing medication for 150 elder people.

Education

Providing training on income generating activity (IGA), Basic business skill (BBS) and self-help group (SHG) concept training for selected 45 elder people.

Our Mission

The mission of Wud Aregawiyan Bego-Adragot Maiber (WABAM) is enhancing its partnership with different partners to promote access to essential services such as Sanitation, Income Generating Activities, Social assistance and improved Health for Elder people and their multi-generational family system. Wud Aregawiyan Bego-Adragot Maiber (WABAM) implement that elders receive their fair share of resources in society to solve their Social, Economical and Psychological problems and Providing assistance to live independent and fulfilling lives. It promotes the establishment of volunteer’s Elder care support groups to Providing Care, and Psycho-Social support.
